The Equestrian

The base, consisting of four horses, is from a table produced by Brunswick Bros & Stephani & Hart in the 1870s called the "Champion." The body’s design is from the Brunswick and Balke table made in the 1880s called the "Monarch."

This table is 4.5 x 9. The intricate base is very heavy and made of solid brass with an applied antique nickel finish. The body has exotic woods and inlays, such as Laurel Burl, Maple, Rosewood, and Mahogany. The rails and slates are from a 100-year-old Brunswick pool table with matching inlays and mouldings. The rail tops are made of Rosewood veneer with diamond-shaped inlays and a custom nameplate.
